Collection and processing of personal data

By default, when you visit our website, our web servers store technical access data such as the like the complete IP address of the requesting computer or IP address of your Internet service provider, the host name of the accessing system, information about the web browser and operating system used, name of the requested file, the amount of data transferred, access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), the website you were coming from to us, the websites you visit of us as well as date and time of the visit. However, with the information available to us, this information cannot be assigned to a specific person. We use this technical access information solely to improve the attractiveness and usability of our website and, if necessary, to identify technical problems on our website at an early stage. The use of your IP address is also technically required to be able to view our website. Otherwise, you can use almost our entire Internet offer, without sharing personal information.

For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attacks on our web server, we store these data for a short period of time. It is impossible to discern the identity of individual persons based on this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish any reference to the indi-vidual user. The anonymized data will also be processed for statistical purposes. We don’t com-pare any data to data in other databases or forward them to third parties, even in excerpts.

In accordance with the principle of data avoidance and data economy, we collect, store and use personal information only if it is necessary or necessary for the purpose you have requested. We use your personal data to process your order, to answer your request, to give you access to special information and offers or to provide you with special services (sending our newsletter, etc.). In addition, such personal data will only be collected, processed or used by us if it is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of GLUETEC or its affiliates and there is no reason to believe that your legitimate interests outweigh the exclusion of processing.

YouTube

The security of your data

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by changing the address line of the browser from “http: //” to “https: //” and the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is enabled, the data you submit to us can not be read by third parties.

Use of your data for direct mailings

Newsletter

GLUETEC sends out a newsletter every quarter by e-mail to inform about current product developments, offers and dates. Mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address alone. The indication of further possible data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. To register for the newsletter via the registration form on our website, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed that you agree to the sending of the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm by clicking on a link that you wish to receive newsletters in the future. The following data is generated in the evaluation:

• date and time of registration and if necessary unsubscribe to the newsletter
• whether the e-mail was sent successfully
• if and when and how often an e-mail was opened by a person
• which links in the e-mail were accessed by the person concerned
• where the person was at the time of opening.

Sending the newsletter to existing customers

If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing products, we reserve the right to send you regular offers for similar products, such as those already purchased, from our range by e-mail. For this we do not have to obtain separate consent from you in accordance with § 7 Abs. 3 UWG. In this respect, data processing takes place solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct mail in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your e-mail address for this purpose, we will not send you a mail. You are entitled to object to the use of your e-mail address for the purpose described above at any time with effect for the future by a message to the person named in the beginning. Use of a merchandise information system
